There is a much repeated view offered that consultants will borrow your watch to tell you the time. If I’d had a CV in the last 15 years, I’m not convinced that this would have amounted to much in the way either of an answer to the question asked, defence of work done or justification of fees charged. There is however a central truth in the statement, namely that executive teams have over time”
