Project Manager - Continuous Improvement Supply Chain

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be employed to lead project teams within our Supply Chain function, working directly with client stakeholders to ensure design and delivery of agreed objectives are achieved to time and cost.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Lead process improvement initiatives across client organisations to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Utilise Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to develop and implement improvement initiatives
  • Conduct process analysis to identify root causes of issues and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure process performance and track progress towards improvement goals
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of improvement initiatives with overall business goals
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and stay current with process improvement methodologies

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in process improvement, with a proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain
  • Experience of managing mixed stakeholder groups, including exposure to board level
  • Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Experience in process analysis, root cause analysis, and solution development• Excellent written communication: training materials, presentations, client reports
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (front line to senior management level)
  • A passion to learn, educate others and be involved with a progressive company
  • An ability to understand and articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
The role will encompass significant travel both in the UK and potentially abroad.  The role will be client based so the successful candidate will be required to have a full UK Driving License showing less than 6 penalty points and be prepared to work away during the week.
