Senior Consultant - Transport

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be employed to work in project teams, working directly with client stakeholders to ensure design and delivery of agreed objectives are achieved to time and cost.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing operationally credible transportation solution to meet client needs
• Lead process improvement initiatives across client organisations to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Conduct process analysis to identify root causes of issues and develop recommendations for improvement
• Develop and implement metrics to measure process performance and track progress towards improvement goals
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of improvement initiatives with overall business goals

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• 2+ years of experience in process improvement, with a proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong understanding transport planning/modelling
• Experience in process analysis, root cause analysis, and solution development
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Paragon or similar system desired• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office

The role will encompass significant travel both in the UK and potentially abroad.  The role will be client based so the successful candidate will be required to have a full UK Driving License showing less than 6 penalty points and be prepared to work away during the week.
