Senior Consultant - Warehouse Design

Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions for our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and design, with a passion for driving efficiency and cost savings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting business analysis and diagnostic processes
• Building an understanding of client businesses, sectors and markets
• Workstream design to convert defined business issues into realistic and deliverable plans
• Management of project workstreams including but not limited to:

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse solution design role
• Able to demonstrate successfully implemented solutions
• High level of analytical ability and proficient in the use of Excel, Access, Visio etc
• Experience of using warehouse design software Autocad, Class or similar
• Commercial awareness and understanding of key costs and cost drivers within the supply chain
• Awareness of relevant industry legislation
• Experience of working in teams
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office

The role will encompass significant travel both in the UK and potentially abroad.  The role will be client based so the successful candidate will be required to have a full UK Driving License showing less than 6 penalty points and be prepared to work away during the week.
